Seller FAQ
 What can I sell ? Anything 2d or 3d you like. For example, 3d models, photographic background sets, characters, texture sets etc etc. You can sell physical products if you want to, but you'll be responsible for delivery and postage costs. How do I sell stuff ? Selling at PoserDirect is as easy as 123.. 1. Send us an email with your name, and product details: stuff like format etc etc 2. Upload your product, description and up to 4 promos (via FTP). We'll add it to the store as soon as possible. 3. Start selling! Important Bit 1! By uploading your product you agree that the contents of the product are yours to sell, and agree to indemnify PoserDirect in the event of any issues. Things like ownership statements are not required either. Important Bit 2! For anyone earning under $50 per month, we will NOT take any commission. You will recive 100% of the selling price. Plus we eat all paypal purchase and sending fees. If you earn more than $50 per month, we will take 25% in commission, giving you 75% of the selling price. Important Bit 3! You need to include a valid email address within the product so artists can contact you if there's any questions. How and when I do get the cash ? In line with industry practice, every month around the 5-7th. We don't make you wait! You'll get paid whatever you've earned in the last month, $1 or $1 Million. All payments are made via Paypal. So don't forget to tell us what address you'd like us to send the money to! What personal details do you require ? None - all we need is your name and a working email address. Can I put a product on 'sale' ? Yep. Anytime. Just tell the new price and remind us when you want that changed back. What's the stock photography thingy? Thats a on-hold project for now. Is selling "adult items" allowed ? Nope. What's the score on selling stuff with trademarks, design marks ? If you have permission from the trademark holder that's cool. Just include it in your email. If you don't have permission then we won't sell it. In line with other brokerages, we accept generically named products. What's the deal with selling fan arts stuff ? We strongly believe that fan arts should be always be free, so we won't sell fan arts items or anything that looks like it. But if you need a home for your fan arts stuff, we'll happily offer free hosting and a place in our freestuff. Can I remove products ? Yep. Anytime you like. What about product categories? Don't like what categories are available ? No problem! Tell what category you'd like and we'll create it for you. Who provides technical support ? The content creator. As they made it they'll know more about it then anyone else. What about licenses ? You decide. use the stores (available here) or create your own terms. BTW - You can't use ones from other stores as these are copyrighted. What's the score on promo images ? .JPG or .GIF Any height you like, maximum width 600 pixels Thumbnails 150x150. If you don't feel like resizing your artwork, then don't worry we'll do it for you. What about artistic nudity in promos ? We do understand that this issue means different things to different people, so we've tried our best to make it fair to everyone and still stay within PayPal's rules. So... No overt sexual imagery. No child nudity - if it's looks to young then it is. Promo 1 and Promo 1 thumbnail - head shot only. Artistic nudity allowed on promo 2, 3 and 4. If needed we will apply a 'contains artistic nudity' thumbnail for you to save you time. Will you comment or offer guidelines on the "quality" of my promos or products? Nope. You're the artist! |
